When you are packing to head to a Disney Park, or any vacation destination, you likely aim to pack everything that you need. What if there is something that would be helpful for your trip, and you did not even know that you needed it? During all of our travels back and forth and to the different Disney Resorts, we have started to utilize outside of the box ideas.
As an Amazon Affiliate, if you order anything by clicking the links below, I may be compensated a small portion at no additional cost to you. Either way, hopefully you will get some new ideas that could either be helpful you you or give you a chuckle.
We have and use some of these items, and a few others I found and thought might be neat to try. Check out these incredibly creative items. Which is your favorite?
Get Refreshed
Surely you have seen spray misters for sale at the amusement parks and other places. It does feel good when you mist the cool water onto your face. However, do you ever feel a bit thirsty and wish that you could drink the water, too? With this misting water bottle, you can because this bottle is both a mister and a water bottle. Neat, right? There are a dozen different design options, too, so everyone in your family can choose their own color!
Stash Your Cash
Pockets, pockets, pockets! Sometimes those of us who wear dresses or skirts do not have pockets. Sometimes even the guys who have pockets would like somewhere more secure to store their cash. For guys and gals, there are actually undershorts with pockets. There are various styles. As a bonus for the ladies, wearing a longer pair of boxers with pockets will also have the fabric protection to prevent sweaty thighs. You can laugh, but you know it is a real issue during the warmer months.
Don’t Be Stinky
One thing that could be embarrassing is when you have been spending a hot day at a Disney Park, and you are starting to feel sweaty and smelly. Nobody wants to be standing on line with a crowd of people when they have embarrassing underarm odor. Did you know that there is such a thing as deodorant wipes? You can buy them individually wrapped or in a multi-pack.
Take Air Conditioning with You
Boy likes to relax with a hands free neck fan. The one that we have is shown below. The fan speed can be adjusted to three levels, and the fan positions are adjustable. It is pretty cool — no pun intended.
We came across an air conditioned shirt/jacket that has me curious. I have not tried something like this, yet it looks like it has potential. Have you tried an air conditioned garment yet?
Keep Warm when Chilly
If you are like us, we have three different people traveling in the car who are comfortable at three different temperatures. Sometimes something to wrap around one of us for warmth is good to have handy. I like this portable travel blanket because it even covers the upper back while leaving room for your head to stick out.
You may be someone who travels on airplanes and finds yourself chilly at times. This blanket is both handy and folds down into a bag.
Unpack Faster
What can I say about this? You pack your clothes, collapse these shelves into your suitcase, and go on your way. When you arrive at your destination, you can simply open your suitcase, lift up the shelves, and hang them in your hotel room closet. Everything is already folded and put away in moments, giving you more time for fun. That is pretty neat, eh?
Sanitize Before You Touch
Have you ever heard of these sanitizing wands? I had not until recently, so we have not tried this item ourselves. I have heard people talk about how they do not like to touch things when traveling. Telephone receivers, remote controls, and door knobs are among the things that collect a lot of germs at hotels. My husband and I have differing opinions on what is gross to tough and what it okay. Haha. I wonder if this sanitizing wand would actually make a difference.
Wireless Tunes
These are two headphones that we have. Both are comfortable. One is for nighttime use, and one is for daytime use. Both the sleep mask and the headband have built in Bluetooth headphones. The sleep mask is cushioned and is shaped to go around your eyes so that you do not feel like the fabric pressing against your eyes. It is nicely designed for comfort. The headband is thin and lightweight, which also offers good comfort. We have and like them both.
Acts of Kindness
There are so many different ways that you can show random acts of kindness at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. One thing that we like to do is share little gifts with children and adults that we see during our visit. Sometimes we will try to bring a smile to a child who is crying. Other times we will simply aim to be friendly and bring a smile for no other reason at all. Below are two gift ideas that we have given people.
